Thank you for choosing Le-Gro Barns. Please read all the terms and conditions before making you're your booking. We look forward to seeing you.

A booking is only confirmed once the company (Le-Gro Leisure) has received the deposit.

The contract is between the company (Le-Gro Leisure) and the client/guest booking the property. It is their responsibility to ensure that everyone in their party staying at Le-Gro Barns is aware of the terms and conditions. The contract between the guest and the Company is entered into at the time of the booking deposit being paid.

Confirmed Bookings

To confirm your booking, please complete and return the booking form together with the deposit. This can be paid by Cheque or Papal or Bacs. The terms and conditions are available to print off along with a booking form. If you are unable to obtain this, please contact us and we will forward them to you.

Payment

A deposit of £150.00 is required with the booking form except for Xmas and New Year weeks when a £450.00 deposit is required. If a booking is made eight weeks or less before the commencement of the holiday then the full rent should be sent with the booking form. If the booking cannot be accepted by the Company the full amount paid shall be returned. The company reserves the right to refuse a booking. If a booking is accepted, the guest becomes liable for the balance of rent for the full period of the holiday, which must be paid eight weeks prior to the holiday. Non payment of the outstanding balance when due will constitute cancellation of the holiday and forfeiture of the deposit payment.

The period of hire shall be from 4pm on the day of arrival and the Property must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing. If you arrive early luggage can be left at the property while you explore the area until the correct arrival time. Please notify us if you plan to do this to ensure there is someone to greet you on arrival.


Damage

Accidents can happen as we all know and small breakages can be excused. However a £100.00 deposit is required 7 days prior to arrival. This is held incase of damage to the property or contents inside and out. It will also cover any excessive cleaning that may be required. It will be refunded once the property has been vacated and inspected by the management. Payment of this deposit can be made by BACS to Le-Gro Leisure, sort code 403532, account number 11745018. If you are you are unable to do this then £100.00 cash must be given on arrival to the management. This will be placed in our safe and returned to you after satisfactory inspection of the property.

Cancellations

Cancellation of the booking must be made in writing by the guest. The effective date of the cancellation will be the date it is received by the company. If the cancellation date is more than eight weeks prior to commencement of the holiday, only the deposit will be forfeited. If the cancellation date is less than eight weeks prior to commencement of the holiday, the full rental charge will be incurred. A refund will only be given if the Company is able to re-book less original deposit and any discount given for late re-booking and a management fee of £50.00. In the unlikely event that the Company cancels a confirmed booking, all monies received will be returned and there will be no further liability to or by the Company . If the guest is unable to arrive at the Property by midday on the day following the holiday start date the client must advise the Company of the intended late arrival. Failure to arrive by midday on the day following the holiday start date and failure in those circumstances to advise the company constitutes cancellation by the client.

In no circumstances may the number of people occupying the Property exceed the number stated in the booking form. The Company reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate the hire without notice if this condition is not observed, or refuse to hand over the Property to any person who the Company's believes is not suitable to take charge. Rents will not be refunded. In such cases all liability of the Company shall cease.

The booking is made on the understanding that Le-Gro Barns is available to the guest on the dates stated. If for any reason beyond the company's control (e.g. fire, storm damage, illness) the Property is not available on the date booked the Company will use their best endeavors to locate alternative accommodation for the guest but cannot guarantee that such will be located and if such cannot be found or is not suitable for the guest then all monies paid by the client shall be returned in full. The Company shall not be liable for any loss, expense, inconvenience or otherwise resulting in such unavailability or unsuitability and the guest shall have no claim against them. The guest shall advise the Company within seven days of alternative accommodation being located as to whether or not it is acceptable. If the alternative property is more expensive the Company reserves the right to charge the difference in cost. The guest is advised to take out their own holiday insurance to cover such events.
Le-Gro Barns is a Non-Smoking property. Designated smoking areas will be allocated.
Pets at the present time are not allowed at Le-Gro Barns.
As far as the law allows, the Company takes no responsibility for loss, damage or injury to the guest their belongings and vehicle or any of the party as a consequence of this agreement or the occupancy following thereon.

The guest will indemnify the Company or their agents against loss, damage or injury sustained to the property or persons as a result of any breach of these conditions or arising from the fault of the hirer or any member of the guest party.

Submission of a signed booking form with deposit or full amount paid, will be deemed to be an acceptance of these conditions and a confirmation of the details set out on the booking form. The person who signs the booking form warrants that he/she is authorized to agree to these terms and conditions and is acting on behalf of all persons including those substituted or who join the party at a later date. The person who signs the booking form is responsible for ensuring that all persons occupying the Property comply with the terms and conditions and in all respects. Any Property occupied is strictly on the basis that the accommodation is for holiday use only and that no right to remain in the Property after the end of the holiday period booked exists for the client or for any person or persons who occupy the Property. All persons will vacate the Property at the conclusion of the period of the holiday.

The guests shall at all times maintain Le-Gro Barns and its contents in a clean and tidy condition. The guest must check the Property and its contents immediately on arrival and notify the management immediately of any faults or damaged items. The guest is expected to leave the holiday accommodation in the same state of cleanliness, general repair and the order in which it was found. An additional charge may be made if extra cleaning is required. The guest shall be liable to the company for any loss, costs, expenses or claims arising from any damage caused to the Property and/or its contents by the deliberate or negligent act or omission of the client or of any person in his/her party. If, as a result of such damage, the Property or any of its contents need to be repaired or any of the contents need to be replaced then the client shall be responsible for paying the reasonable costs of doing so.
Every effort has been made to ensure that you have enjoyable and comfortable stay. If, however, there is any cause for complaint, the Company is anxious that remedial action is taken as quickly as possible. It is essential that the guest contact the proprietors so that any complaints can be speedily resolved. Under no circumstances will the Company's liability exceed the rental paid for the Property. The proprietors or their agents whomsoever reserve the right to enter either property at any reasonable time.

If a set of keys is lost a fee of £200 is payable to cover the cost of new locks to be fitted and sets of keys which will need to be cut.
The prices given include paypal charges and all services e.g. electricity, gas and water. There will be a basket of complementary logs for the wood burner. All other logs can be purchased on request. If any inappropriate substance is use on the wood burners then the guest will be charged accordingly to the damage caused. We strongly recommend that the log burners are Not Used if children are present in the party. Use of log burners is undertaken at guest own risk as they are not essential for heating.

The guest and his or her party must comply with any reasonable regulations relating to the accommodation of which the client has written notice. Such regulations will be found in the welcome folder in the accommodation, typical examples would include any local conditions such as use of local country side, waste disposal and recycling etc.
The Company hopes you enjoy your stay at Le-Gro Barns. However the guest and their party must agree not to cause a nuisance and excessive noise while staying at Le-Gro Barns. If their behavior is deemed unreasonable by the Company the party will be asked to leave the property and terminate their stay without any refund.
All links to external websites are provided for information purposes for the guests benefit. We cannot be held responsible for the content of these websites or any activity undertaken.

Fireworks may only be used with prior arrangement from the Company and under no circumstances can any fires be lit anywhere in the grounds or surrounding land.
Charcoal BBQ's can be supplied in the summer months.
Due to the close proximity of the property to the River Tanat (approx 50 meters) the Company will take no responsibility for children's safety. The parents/ guardians must accept all responsibility for their children's safety while staying at Le-Gro Barns.
The Company cannot be responsible for a disruption of services eg water due to drought etc or electricity due to damaged power cables etc.

Governing Law

The construction, validity and performance of the Agreement shall be governed by the law of England and Wales, and both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the UK Courts.
